About Chris Loughlin Photography

About me

I am a self taught photographer who started my career in portrait photography.

My investment in specialist lighting equipment has lead to an ever increasing involvement in improving and updating web images for businesses.

I like a challenge and solving problems and believe photography and art are key components for the image of the modern day business.

I have been greatly encouraged by comments that "I have captured the images other that our clients really wanted"

I have come from a Sales background and have spent many years working with Multi National Medical Sales Companies at a senior level.

I therefore am able to connect my artistic services from a commercial prospective and enjoy working with people and listening to their ideas and visions. Once I understand the nature and key competitive edge of my customers business I am then in a position to portray it as an image.

My credits include having my work displayed at local galleries and locations such as the Oak House Restaurant Axbridge and various local shops and arcades.

My work has been featured on the award winning Renee-Paul web shop www.renee-paul.com which has received an award from Zazzle for artistic design.

I also contribute photographs as a freelance artist to local news papers and media.

My Vision

I prefer natural light slightly enhanced in an outdoor environment.

Whist I find communication very important in photography it’s been entertaining to have produced the right images for a Spanish client where we did not share a common language.

Working with Paul has added a new dimension with my artistic input. This has lead to new angles in my work and diversifying into new areas of photography.

I have got to know and enjoy working with Nikon cameras, lenses and remote flash units. For studio work I use Elinchrom lights and reflectors

Future Plans

I will be working with award winning Spanish artist Nolvido Quae on new art projects and have been invited to submit some selective items of my work to the Saatchi Online Gallery.
